Introductions of Dog Bark Collars

A dog might bark at the door, noises or other animals to get your attention or simply out of boredom. But just like humans, there is a chance your dog could just a natural loud mouth which takes practice and discipline for proper bark behavior. If you’ve addressed the reasons for the excessive barking to no avail, then the dog supplies like a bark collar might give you the results you’re looking for. Today we are going to break down different types of bark collars. Let’s take a look at three main types of electronic bark collars which discourage barking, such as touch, smell and sound.
First we have stimulation collars which emit light static shock whenever barking is detected from your dog. This collar uses a combination of sound and vibration to ensure it only corrects when your dog is the culprit. It begins with low-level static and increases intensity with continued excessive barking. Yet this model is safe and yet annoying correction, some people find it this to be inhumane.
The next type of bark collar utilizes an odor that is unpleasant for dogs. And unlike static shock, such collars are reviewed as humane. So they are popular dog products among owners. It works by releasing a spray whenever barking is detected. Once the spray runs out, you need to purchase a refill canister which contains three to four hundreds sprays per can.
Lastly ultrasonic collars work by emitting an offensive tone in response to a dog’s bark. But the downside is that your dog has any kind of hearing impairment, the ultrasonic collar won’t be very effective. It may also confuse and annoy nearby dogs.
Ideally these collars are conditioned to bad barker and bark less and won’t need to be worn forever. However, results are no 100% guaranteed as they rely heavily on your dog’s temperament. And remember dogs bark for a reason. So try to look at the problem first.
