This Thursday, 27th of November is a big holiday of this month also this year: Thanksgiving Day. To celebrate this wonderful holiday, I think we have already had everything ready. However, if you keep pets, especially cat, you have to be careful for your kittens, because cat always has unique problems in colder weather of the fall and winter holidays. Now, you could learn how to keep your cats safe at the time of Thanksgiving with these tips.
Traditional Thanksgiving dinner is often loaded with ingredients that can make your kitten very ill, such as onion-laced stuffing and gravy, vegetables with rich sauces and that butte-basted turkey itself. So, you need to watch out your kitten and do not feed her your food. You should feed your cat her own a nutritious Thanksgiving meal of canned cat food in her cat feeder before the family dinner, along with a teaspoon or two of plain canned pumpkin for later ‘dessert’.
Even though you have your guests on Thanksgiving Days for dinner, remember to keep cat indoor. During cold weather, if your cat goes outside, she will hide up in the wheel well of a car or seek the warmth of an engine. That will be terrible because if someone starts up the car she will be killed or hurt badly. So do not ignore your cat though in a big holiday. Once kitten finish her meal, do not forget to put her into crate or her warm ‘home’.
Since fall and winter always have big holidays, do not snack your cat too much. As cat in cold days become lazy, if you feed her too much, she will get fat soon. It is bad to kitten. So, exercise and diet meal should be taken. Or you can buy her some cat products for better playing.
